My name is Janelle Hyde and I am a certified instructor with Infant Swimming Resource. I reside with my family in Allen, Texas. I have lived in Allen for 28 years and am active in many local groups. Along with teaching ISR, I organize and run a neighborhood playgroup, am a member of several other playgroups and hobby groups, and am involved with my church. I graduated from Allen High School in 1986 (when Allen was still quite a small town!), received my BA in Literary Studies from UTD, and completed some graduate work at UNT. I am married and have three beautiful girls, ages 21, 13, and 2. When my youngest was 8 months old, I enrolled her in ISR lessons and was so inspired by the ISR program that I decided to become an instructor. I completed my training in early 2009 and am currently teaching from my home in Allen. I am passionate about teaching little ones self-rescue swimming skills. My desire, and that of the ISR organization as a whole, is that through this education, we will reach a point where not one more child drowns.
